I can not guarantee the authenticity of any these - but decide for yourself lmfao this is quite an interesting avenue -
I was rather astonished to find Vanessa Del Rio among the subscribers to my spineyExtra channel, I doubt if she is especially fond of badgers, aircraft or Robin Hood so it must be the Kay Parker videos - lol amazingly Georgina Spelvin & Kay Parker actually do have their own Youtube channels hmmm where might this be leading ? related channels ? friends ? I tell u where this is leading - this subject deserves it's own site - a blog at least... I will probably expand this to include x-rated youtube clips - that may or not have been reviewed - lol |

I managed to get a short interview with green screen guru Markapsolon - many thanks Mark 1. Mark your videos always look sharp & seldom stutter - can I ask what formats you think work best for streaming on-line video? I use a higher end pro-sumer type camera to record my videos (panasonic HVX200) in HD or in a DVCpro50 codec. Then I render out the final cut into a intermediate HD file using the blackmagic 4:2:2 codec. The files are large but the quality is superior to any other intermediate HD files on a windows system. After I have the intermediate HD file I open a new file in Vegas pro 8 or 9 (mostly 8 because vegas pro 9 has a few bugs) and I render the internet file using a mainconcept AVC mpeg4 custom 1280x 720p file. That seems to work the best for higher quality video on youtube but it also is in part the camera I use too.
2. what is your preferred platform & favourite piece of software ??
I have used both Mac and Windows based OS's and have found both have their advantages and disadvantages. In my own experiences I would say one is no better than the other for editing video so it is the users chose as to want they really want to use for editing. Currently I prefer Vegas pro but I also use Premerie Pro CS4 in the mix too. I am currently using Windows.
3. what is your favourite camera ?
Camera go in and out every year. Some people will stick with one for years..lol I currently love any of the solid state cameras like the HVX200 or the Sony EX-1. Both have advantages and disadvantages. I love the HVX200 for its P2 campatablity and the inter framed codec that panasonic uses. The color spacing of the HVX200 DVCpro codec are great for chromakey and color. While the Sony Ex-1 use a long gop mpeg2 codec which is not so good for chromakey but the HD picture quality is one of the best on the market for that priced camcorder. In other words it a toss up between the EX-1 and the HVX200..lol
4. who is your favourite youtuber ?
Whatthebuck is probably my favorite youtube based one several facts. He is good at what he does and what is does is braodcast worth. I can not say that about most of the higher end youtubers. If Micheal Buckley does not go get into broadcast television production then I beleive that broadcast television is missing a great opportunity for a very talent individual.
5. is there one piece of kit you cant live without ?
Lights..lol without good light there is no good video :)
6. if there was one technology that would improve your video-making process what would it be ?
I think is Sony vegas would work with Panasonic to have the P2 DVCpro codecs native with Vegas pro it would really help my work flow. Currently I have having to do all the DVCpro codec converted into a format that will work with Vegas pro via a third party codec, which takes time. A native import would work great!
7. what is next piece of equipment you would like to acquire ?
Probably another secondary camera for my other offline productions. I am thinking about a Sony EX-3 but I might just go with a EX-1
